Just thinking about the old days at WJRL AM with George Wilhite. Station closed years ago. Wonder what happened to George.

was there not an app for 102.3 in Calhoun City once?

also what is the microwave antenna right off the square (to the south i think) in Calhoun City about 75 feet up or so?

fm channel was deleted years ago.that resulted in stations north and east upgrading or moving over a channel.so now it is moot.

Last I heard the FM 102.3 was changed to a directional 1.2 KW or so. Definitely done so the Ripley and Philadelphia (?) 102.3's could upgrade. Not literally gone, but effectively gone as I remember.
