WJTB Horrible Audio Problems

Is anyone fixing the audio problems at 1040 WJTB? The audio is very distorted with a bad humming/whining sound in the background. Sounds as bad as 87.7 did at times before they launched their format.

We're talking about a station whose operation and equipment are held together by shoelaces and scotch tape. Don't hold your breath.

They probably need some masking tape. I've found that a little masking tape in the right places makes
any audiio sound wonderful. :D

The station is the lowest of the low-rent stations in the area. The absolute bottom of the barrel.

The equipment at WJTB has been literally falling apart for years, but over the past couple of years, there are times when the audio is so bad that it is almost 100% distortion, hum and static. This weekend it was so awful, I couldn't understand a word that anyone was saying.

Between the crazy owner (some two-bit guy who says he is a "Reverend") and the garbage pile equipment, I am surprised that the FCC lets them keep their license.
