WJTV 12.2 is up and running

They have a talk show called "Trichia" on right now. Never heard of it. It's the usual relationship stuff with cheating spouses and lie detector tests. 12.2 is still in 4:3 standard definition. No widescreen. Program guide hasn't been updated. Still says "Titan"

Have you checked in the CW block between 7-9pm? Hopefully, they have it high def. I kind of figured that they would have to dump 12.3 in order for 12.1 to broadcast 1080i and 12.2 to broadcast 720p.

I wish I could see it OTA, but apparently WJTV dropped power a little bit a few months ago. I can't get a reliable lock on it now near the rez. I have an mid-size VHF/UHF outdoor antenna in the attic and used to get signal strength around 90. Now, I either don't get it or if I do it's in the low 70s and drops off quickly.

I haven't noticed any signal issues. Maybe you need to check your antenna.
I'm watching the Iheart radio concert on CW and it is in standard definition. My onscreen programming says 480i SD. Part of the time 12.2 is still simulcasting 12.3 during the off hours when there is nothing on CW. I don't see why they couldn't broadcast in some sort of widescreen (not letterboxed or squeezed) format and keep the SD definition. I've heard of some stations doing that.

Something odd is happening on CW. The program audio is fine, but some of the commercials have the dialog missing. only music and sound effects being heard. may have something to do with 5.1 surround with the center channel missing. It only does it on certain commercials.

On the CW web site they still have WRBJ-TV as the affiliate. And on Directv they still have the CW affiliate in Washington, DC, which I hope the furloughed Federal workers in Washington are watching too:). Seriously, WJTV has to get away from simulcasting Antenna TV and get some other type of programming on when the CW network is off the air.

I notice that a few more CW shows are on in the afternoon and in the evening. I haven't watched during the day as WJTV is non-existent with my indoor Antenna. But looking at the listings, there is a great deal to do until Antenna TV does not simulcast the rest of the day.
