WJW Back to FOX TELEVISION STATIONS?

According to TVNEWSCHECK, the bids for WJW local tv llc/FOX CO are due today and among the bidders are Sinclair, Meredith, and Nextstar.

But within the article you find this:

Fox could also be a buyer for the FoxCo. stations, which it spun off in 2008. Sources familiar with the situation say Fox regrets , selling the stations and may attempt to reacquire some of them.

I really hope nexstar does not buy it. They are terrible, they have the lower quality shows, look at the fox station they operate in Erie, Pa. It has Muary, Trisha, We the People, and America's Court. I hope that Fox or Sinclair buy it.

Both nextstar and Sinclair are not interested in anything above 30 which makes Cleveland safe. Both Tribune and Fox are interested in major markets Cleveland #18, so that is a likely bet as they are going to split the group up and I can see fox and tribune wanting in Cleveland

Take it from someone in Cincinnati where Sinclair owns channels 12 and 64, you do not want Sinclair.
 
I think FOX should get WJW back. The station performed very well for them and could help keep their news operation strong.

If that happens, could My Fox Cleveland return online? Maybe News Corp should also go for another station in Cleveland to go with 8.

Yes the my fox Cleveland would return even though it will not be news corp buying fox it will be 21 century fox as fox is splitting from the newspaper business

Sinclair bought Fisher, which put them in Seattle and Portland.

True but numerous place have reported Sinclair really only wants the smaller markets like nextstar. It is tribune and Fox that want the top 25 stations
 
At least Cleveland is sparred from Sinclair. Glad to see Tribune purchase it, though it'll be interesting to see what changes are taking place.
 
I hope they maintain the good that FOX 8 is now. I hope the news stays #1 and the better high rated shows like big bang and judy stay.
