In the 50s the studios were at 411 Madison Street. Did the studios move to the original transmitter site and if so, in what year?

Mike,
Gald to see someone mention 14 JZM! My cosuin, Johnny Bailey, was one of the original owners of WJZM. He passed away around 1995-96. The studios were on Madison St up until the around 2000 or 2001. The current onwner, Hank Bonecutter, built new studios at the transmitter site in a real nice building, on Martin St.
I remember at the age of 3, going up the studios on Madison St, and watching the guy through the window do his airshift. This was in the mid 60's. If you have any other questions on 14 JZM, let me know. My dad hung around there alot in the 50's.

I'm glad to see someone mention WJZM Too. The studio was moved in
November of 2000. Still moving along as Clarksville's only locally
owned radio station. Scott, thanks for jumping in there and letting
people know we are atill around. How is everything at the Magic 1560?

Very old thread, but found it using Google. I am from The Netherlands . I was at WJZM in the summer of 1977. We visited the radio studio with mr John Bailey. We were at his house. Mr Bailey was on military mission in Europe during Worldwar 2 and stayed at my grandfathers house in Heerlen for some time with some other US soldiers. My father always stayed in contact with the Americans and adopted a military grave at Margraten cemetary after the war. We had the occasion to visit John Bailey in 1977 and he took us to the studio. I was 14 years then and got a gift from the DJ on duty. It was the record Holland by the Beach Boys. Still have it. I might even have pictures from inside the studio. Greetings: Peter Boekweg, Ekehaar, Netherlands
