They be TRUE OLDIES as of 3:00 p.m. Did not expect anything that soon. Thought sure BA had made their pitch for it to flip to their bird. They probably did. BA now needs to hard sell. They've lost an opportunity in New York and Washington, two markets they need. They'll probably work harder on Cleveland, get more of Philly, more Detroit and other markets with large local staffs. I would venture to say that not even the great KIFM or Seattle's station are safe now. Radio's huge losses can possibly help BA if they can sell a PPM-friendly version of Smooth AC. I can see CHR/Hot AC taking the bite with Ryan Seacrest as well. Ironic that local radio is going out at the same time the FCC has proposed more localism rules. Gonna get very interesting across the board.
