This just in WJZW suddenly flips to Classic Rock as "105.9 The Edge".
 
This new station will surely be competing with WBIG. It seems keeping the True Oldies would have been a better option. The True Oldies was a new format that could have taken off given more time.
 
It's been said that in its final days, WHFS (@ 94.7) saw a small increase in ratings in its final days. Maybe Citadel is feeding off of that...
 
I wonder when the air talents are coming in. I think this station is inbetween DC101 and WBIG with this 'Classic Rock what Really Rocks' format. I like it, it have more 'balls' than the mainstream Classic Rock stations.
 
Yet another great example of Citadel knee jerk, change for change sake. The stockholders were promised change but again drank the koo-laid in believing that he had a well thought plan to actually improve it's overall profitability.

When did HFS have final days on 94.7? It just launched June 10? You mean 105.7? Or 99.1?
