Guess kix 96 will change soon too in Savannah

Maybe I've just been listening at the wrong times but I'm hearing a lot more new country than 90s stuff. The reason I loved Kix was because they played a good mix of old and new. Also, I refuse to call the station anything other than Kix 96.

I think KIX 96 qualifies as a legacy image which ought be retired rather than retooled extensively. It will be interesting to watch developments in this area. Savannah and Savannahians tend to view change with suspicion. Many threads can be found on this board in which this resistance to change is cited as the reason for a lack of vitality in the programming on Savannah radio.

Talk about change WEAS E93 PD LIL G is leaving. He announced that Cumulus is looking for a replacement. I would think to just promote Kenya Cabine. Wasn't he PD before? I think I just heard a sweeper on Kix96 saying "powered by NASH" Is it already happening?

"What do we know...a-hilk, a-hilk! We're just a bunch of dumb doctors (djs)...a-hilk, a-hilk!!"

Funny, Ger, I believe I heard those exact sentiments from a highly-overpaid Sr. VP of Programming at the Big Fluffy Cloud Company just a few short years ago!

Thank GAWD ALMIGHTY I have a radio job that's not corporate-controlled! I am truly blessed!
