Stu Nahan was a sports anchor in L.A. for 30 years. In his early days at Ch. 48 he hosted the kiddie show "Captain Philadelphia" dressed as an astronaut in the late afternoon and then in the evening did the play by play of the Flyers games and was sports anchor (not news anchor). He appeared in Rocky movies & Fast Times at Ridgemont High among other films. He passed away from cancer in 2007.

Does anyone know if there is any video of the old Ed Hurst Show from the Steel Pier? It started on Channel 12 (WVUE) with Joe Grady, then Channel 3 for many years with Ed Hurst and Micky Marlo, in the mid 60's, then on Channel 10 for one year co-hosted by by Doug something and on to Channel 17 for 2 seasons in 68 and 69 hosted by Ed Hurst with the late Bobby Gail when it was first broadcast in color, and the final days after 1970 it was on Channel 6.
