WKDD Streaming Question

I am listening to the WKDD live stream and am experiencing something I have never experienced - the webstream is actually ahead of the on-air broadcast.

My guess is that the on-air broadcast is using a 7-10 second delay, however, in all of my experience with streams, they are usually, at the very least, 5-10 seconds delayed on what is going over the air. I guess my network isn't too busy as we close toward 1am.

I guess my question is, if the on-air broadcast is on a 7-10 second delay, why wouldn't the stream be on the same delay?

On air delay might have something to do with HD transmission, which I believe, is delayed by about 7 seconds.
