WKDD switching back to HOT AC?

I've been listening to WKDD for the past week and I've noticed that they've added several singles that are only on the Hot AC format. Billy The Kid who was nationally syndicated no longer airs on weekday evenings and was replaced by Krissy Taylor. It wasn't at all listed in the panel changes but part of me believes their switching back. Does anyone know for sure? They switched from Hot AC to CHR in early 2012.

I think it would be best if KDD went back to Hot AC.

Even though KISS 96.5 is based in and aimed at Cleveland, they still have a presence in Akron, and having the same format as KDD results in essentially cannibalizing each other.

I'd like to see WKDD as a Mainstream/Hot AC hybrid, with a focus on crossover CHR product to keep it from being too close to sister station WHOF in Canton. There's really no other AC station based out of Akron other than 'KDD.

The station really had a distinctive sound back in the 1990's and really had a lot more hotter tunes than Q104.
