Many people couldn't leave their homes to GET to the radio station... or ANY radio station for that matter last weekend

and BTW...just exactly would you have staffed your station during this crisis?

So now we're not supposed to post if we are no longer working in the broadcast industry?

I wasn't clear: of course you don't have to be in radio to post...it's a good thing to have input from non-radio types.
I was just pointing out that if you don't know anything about how the industry works...you can look foolish
when you make outlandish suggestions and assumptions.

On the other hand...I can look foolish here, too...and I've been at this for a long time.

Jack: thank you for the kind words. It's always nice to hear them. I have told you repeatedly you can go to a larger market. I still believe that. (For anyone trying to read something negative in that comment, no, I am not suggesting Jack leave Nashville. *sheesh*)

Delta: I heard through the grapevine that you will be using a new microphone this weekend! Way to go! Can't wait to hear it on your Internet radio show in Gallatin. Chuck Lundi's Rock Box will be rockin' again this Saturday and Sunday night, from 6pm until... Just a little plug. I will look forward to hearing how incredible the new mic sounds!

gee..shameless promotion there.. the only place i know of to hear BEATLE BREAK sat and sun nights @ 8:15 and 10:15..and if the new mic doesn't make me sound like WLS in 1972 :..i'm returning it.. lol
