WKDN sign-off 4-15-12 11pm audio

At 6:30 this morning, I turned on 106.9 and I hear "It's the end of the world" by REM. Then it comes on again! 7:00- I get to work and try back. It's still playing! 9:30- Quickly turn on the radio to see if REM is still playing. Yup! Still playing that same song! 11:30- Lunch time... Still repeating that same REM song!!!! Finally at 3:30 when work was done, Hannity was on.

And by the way- Why on Earth would you program a station to be hannity 24/7?????? I'm definitely not a fan of the guy, but even if I was, I would get sick of hearing the same person really fast.

24/7 Hannity is just a stunt format until the station is ready to go full time with its talk lineup. I'd say within a week to two weeks (maybe longer), they'll be adding stuff to the station.

And that REM song was a play on Family Radio's end of the world prediction last May.
 
Ohhhh ok. Right over my head haha. That makes sense. I hope since it'll be a fox station that they'll at least pup Alan Colmes on at night. Gotta love that show! And I'll finally be able to listen on the actual radio instead of my phone.
 
Yo right after REM that announcement of "The End Of The World today at Noon" gave me chills....probaly would've freaked me out if I tuned in at that time lol.
 
did i care that 106.9 was playing music the other night nope i was just glad too hear something else then that old outdated programming
