WKFS-HD2 (Broadcasting WLW on 94.5)

Drove from downtown this afternoon - listened to them all the way to Sharonville/Mason exit of I-275.
Guess they are still in "testing phase" before they place WKRC 55 programming on this channel.
How good is it where you are? ???

It's mostly Dayton's 94.5 here in Fairfield. Even when WNKU had the repeater up here, it struggled against Dayton. I don't get a trace of 100.7, but 106.3 sounds great.

Yeah, "99 watts" from downtown is extremely weak a little south of I-275. Go figure!
Much worse than the other CC translators such as 96.9 and 100.7 broadcasting from the Ch. 12 tower. Amazing difference between 250 watts vs. 99 watts @ the same location.

I think 106.3 was supposed to be directed towards northern Cincinnati, and 100.7 was supposed to be directed towards downtown and into Northern Kentucky.

If 100.7 WEEC here in Springfield was pointed towards Dayton(It's pointed towards Troy now), it'd probably knock out that LPFM on 100.7 in Cincy.

100.7 is as good as 97.3 or 97.7 in Northern KY. I am unable to hear 106.3 due to CD 106.3 in Lexington KY.

Correct. That was the plan all along to cover the metro with 100.7 to downtown/east-side and Northern Kentuck. and 106.3 to cover Northern Hamilton County west side/Butler and Warren counties. You can get 106.3 fairly well to Middletown and Lebanon.

For 225 watts they (106.3) do a relatively good job. BTW: The Project format fills a niche in the market and does it well.
