WKHL in Connecticut format change

> WKHL, formerly "Kool 96.7" changed formats to "Fairfield
> County's greatest hits from the 60's to today".

This was no big loss. Kool was as bad, music wise, as one could get with an oldies station. 14 songs and 2 jingles, a D.E. dream.

The new format is more like Gold AC. Mostly upbeat 70's / 80's and early-mid 90's. Only 2 clunkers in an hour and a half, that's unheard of in radio.

The only thing I hope they do bring over is a couple of the old Kool jocks. I do think they'd do well with this format, they had some decent talent.
