I guess CBS-FM in New York City would be the first to flip from "Jack" to oldies this Thursday. If Goodradio takes over the Clear Channel Hudson Valley stations, this is your only hope. Rick McCaffery will stay with the "Solid Gold Jukebox" when Goodradio takes over, it should always will.

Goodradio has taken over the CC hudson valley cluster. Time will tell who goes and who stays...format changes, anyone??? jump in....

Have you got the link?

Those Hudson Valley stations are still under contract. Some of the stations like 92.1/98.5 Lite-FM, 96.1 Kiss-FM, WRWD, Cruisin' 93.5, Star 93.3 and standards WKIP, WHUC and WELG are still owned by Clear Channel. Here are those two links to find out that are stations still listed as CC.

Those links to these sites that are still listed under Clear Channel. No word on what Goodradio would happen next.

Strange how WCTW is listed under 'Poughkeepsie, NY'. In my 'The Cat' listening days reception was an issue points south of Rhinebeck/Kingston.

You mean WW1 standards, just like the old WMTR in Morristown, NJ? I remember that station since it reached Brooklyn from Morristown, it was a great station playing standards under the "America's Best Music" brand.

Bill, thanks for the info...I have it from an employee that KIP is going oldies; if that were true I'd expect that AM drive might be local, and the rest on the bird, don't know if they would want to spend a lot of $$ on KIP....Please post anything you might hear, anyone...thanks :D
