wklb board op asleep at the wheel?

i listen to wklb at work a lot and usually on Saturdays they play the country top 40 at 6am. well this week it didn't start till 8, I'm assuming someone realized the mistake and corrected it. Same thing today usually 630 the boring infomercials start,But today i was treated to an extra hour of non stop music. maybe the timing is off? or the board op fell asleep lol. cheers

Board op?
I donʼt think they even have an engineering dept.!
Have you heard the audio in the last year or so? It sounds so “tinny” at times, like they have the EQ boxʼs pots all pushed up to the max (it almost sounds like they have the compression cranked up to super-duper high—which would be a welcome plus, IMHO—for whatever reason, and are trying to mask it with the tinny EQ).

Infomercials? A successful music FM in a major market plays infomercials? Even at the nobody's-listening time of 6:30 a.m. Sunday, that's something I've never heard of. Are you sure you're not hearing public affairs programming?
