WKNA Senatobia being sold...

Zach, I was lugging my trusty RDS analyzer around your neck of the woods (or soybean fields) this week, and I can say that MPB's 90.3 has a monster signal. I've toured the main WKNO site, and the 91.1 transmitter/antenna is no slouch either.

RDS

Find anything interesting around here with the RDS?

It seems with the advent of HD radio a lot of stations finally adopted RDS, at least in the cities. In Birmingham, where I'm from originally, almost all the commercial stations have it now. In Los Angeles, I counted at least 28 in the area.

But ya that 90.3 is a monster, definitely the strongest of the MPB's in this area. That tower (w/ TV channel 18/DT whatever) is quite impressive for this area.

WMAV,WMFS,WSNA,WHAL,WXMX,WKIM,WMC,WEGR,WRBO (which has been blank lately),WRVR,WGKX, & WHKL all have rds running

Professor wonders if anyone else senses the irony in this posting. The writer claims hate speech, yet uses phrases like, “zealot,” and “crap and hate.” Does hypocrisy only run one direction?

Perhaps comic Brett Butler put her finger on this, “I hate bigots so much it makes me one."

Preach on, Paul.

One of the broadcasters, EMF, will be broadcasting a primarily contemporary Christian music format. Not much "hate" there.
