WKNY Off the Air

I listened to WKNY today where Warren Lawrence did his oldies show, and then, nothing came on. I don't know what happened to the station. Did it go off the air or is there any info when it will coming back, but I'm not 100% sure what is going to happen to WKNY.

The oldies show on WKNY is a great show with Warren Lawrence and he does a great job playing the oldies. With no oldies on WKNY, maybe they should go to "Fox Oldies" to get their music fix from WKNY's audience on Saturday afternoons, but I love the doo-wop portion from 4 until 6 PM and it was great, I guess it should've belong to "Fox Oldies" which is part of the specialty show.

Let's hope if WKNY goes back on the air very soon if this can get fix. Hopefully will get back to normal.

WKNY certainly has more than its share of dead-air. I usually attribute it to aging equipment, and inexperienced staff.
