WKOA Lafayette announces new morning co-host

Mark Allen, who left Lafayette recently, will be replaced as PD and morning co-host by Mike Shamus. Shamus currently holds the OM title at WKOA.

He is expected to debut on the morning show on Aug 10.

I know Mark A. did some good things for KOA when he arrived. Where did he go?

He went to Fed Med in Fort Wayne ... to K105 if I remember right.

No offense, but you remember wrong. :)

Mark Allen went to B100 in South Bend as PD/Afternoons.

Yes, that is correct.

South Bend is my hometown and it's great to be home.

Here's hoping that Shamus and Annie are a hit.

I guess I'll have to change my title to B100Mark, though.

I wouldn't bother....very little chance you'll be there half as long as you were with Shurz. South Bend is a real "commuter" market where no one stays long...of course that is every market in today's radio
