As of 8:00 AM on Wednesday, January 11th 106.3, WKOE is now ID'ing in the Breeze's tricast as WKOE/Bass River Township. Interesting how they no longer mention Atlantic City? I guess the move to 106.5 is on the way.
______________

Jim, I just heard it at the 9:00 ID. I am not sure if I was too caught up at 8 or not. As of 9:00, it was WKOE Bass River Township-Atlantic City. Can't they just say WKOE/ Bass River-Atlantic City?
______________

If "Bass River Township" is the COL, then they have to say the "township" part ...

It should be noted that WKOE is not yet licensed to Bass River Township.
______________

If that is the case, then why did they change the ID's on-air today ?

Re: WKOE is now Bass River Township - Construction Permit

They have obvioulsy received a "Construction Permit" for
the new facility, and are moving forward.

FCC Approval in November PDF Link

I haven't seen any evidence of their application being submitted yet in the FCC's database. But it's not due in until February 9th.

To me, it seems like saying "Bass River Township" is premature. I think they need to be beaming the 70 dBu signal over Bass River first.
______________

Re: WKOE is now Bass River Township - Construction Permit

The FCC's online information typically lags the real
thing by a few days to a week.

The application actually is in the FCC database today, and should be in the digest next week. :p

They're still licensed to Ocean City as of the morning of 12 January 2006.

They will be, as we all guessed, on the Channel 62 tower.

Coverage Questions

Let me be the first to start the "How far will it reach questions." Looking at the coverage map, it looks like a strong signal up to Forked River. I am wondering if it will be listenable in Toms River. Since we don't have any strong adjacent interference from G Rock or Lite.
______________

Hey, the link's not working. Any other link you might be able to use? I wonder myself how far north it's gonna go.
