WKOP 1990 Changes

Where did I go, what have I been up to and what's next?

(the answers will be revealed...right about now)

1- I had to temporarily drop my Live365 stream for a few different reasons.

2- Since then, I've seriously upgraded my setup with much better quality source material (and dropped a lot of cash on cds, tapes and lps along the way but, hey, it's only money, right?). I've also spent a lot of time tweaking settings on my newly-acquired processor to get what is the best AM sound I've created thus far. Once I'm back on-air, I'll gladly take any suggestions anyone might have on how to tweak things even further. Oh, yeah, before I forget...by the time I go back on air, I will have prepped over 1000 pre-1971 tracks for airplay and will be going to a classic oldies format with nothing from after 1970 making the cut.

All tracks will be either the 45 version that was available in stores or the promo version sent to radio stations.
No album versions or album cuts- but look for some truly obscure stuff and some great B-sides.

3- I am going to restart my stream on Live365 but if their prices get out of hand because of the new fee structure then it'll be back to Part-15 for me, and the only way you'll be able to hear me is if you park your car within a few blocks of where I live (or I just might go pirate-streaming *grin*). I'll post the new station name here when I restart on April 3rd...
