This will replace the partnership CC Madison had with WISC/TV3, arguably the best TV news/weather operation in Madison. WKOW used to have a partnership with Mid-West Family (Magic 98, WTDY, et. al.) until Mid-West Family teamed up with WMTV/NBC 15 in the past year.

Before that, NBC 15 had a little bit of a partnership with Entercom (WOLX, WMMM), providing weather and some afternoon news briefs. While Entercom has now been getting its weather from the Weather Eye weather service, the afternoon news updates have been from... WKOW. Obviously, this will now change with WKOW's CC deal.
