WKOX-AM 1200 Off-the-air

I know that any time I post that a radio station is off-the-air, poof, it comes back on...BUT:
at about 1:00 pm Friday, WKOX-AM 1200 was off-the-air entirely (not like WRCA-1330 AM WUNR-AM, running at reduced power.) Something happening at 750 Sawmill Brook Parkway? Testing to see if that big transformer will accept a 50K blaster?
 
It's on right now and POWERING in to Beverly clear as a bell. Meanwhile WESX 1230 has a dead air signal...?

(WNSH however is still off)
And I have a digital tuner so no I wasn't getting WESX instead of WKOX...
(WESX's sister station WJDA is on, however)

Loud, clear, "orgullo Latino" music at 1200..

As WESX is in the process of moving their trransmitter onto the
WLYN tower in Lynn, they may be off for periods of time...
 
Ah, and WESX is back on.."musica, noticias..." etc
(Then, in English: "The views expressed on the following program are those of the speaker
and not those of Principal Broadcast--"(cut off)--then a woman speaking in Spanish

AND WNSH is now back on. 4 pm network newscast (and no doubt Tammy Bruce in a moment)

If by chance anyone out there happens to listen to Tammy Bruce...would you PLEASE call her 800#? I've never heard a talk-show host go all-monologue all-the-time while begging for calls like on her show!
 
Have heard her do fill ins for Laura Ingraham and small bits of her show but yes not much
in the way of calls, eh? In the "something for everyone" category, a publicity pic on her site
shows her embracing a radio microphone under her left arm, and holding a pistol with her right hand.
She is described as "an openly gay, pro-choice, gun owning, pro-death penalty, voted-for-President Bush authentic feminist. A lifelong Democrat, in the 1990s she worked to help elect Senators Feinstein and Boxer, and aided the Clinton for President campaign."

That's one thing she always does on her own show or in fills in. She makes her point. Yeah. And then
punctuates it with a..."yeah."

...Yeah...
 
WKOX was definitely not on the Newton transmitter when I checked Saturday early afternoon. I was near the Oak Hill area, and it wasn't strong. Sounded like Framingham.
