WKPE/The Ocean swap frequencies...

So it looks like effective Monday, April 16, Sandab will be switching The Ocean and The Rocket's frequencies...they have always wanted that 50,000 watt stick for the Ocean...

That's too bad for my Dad who lives in Osterville. Ocean 104, which he likes listening to, comes in well
there. Not sure how well 104.7 would. Let's see:

WOCN S. Yarmouth at 103.9:

WKPE Orleans at 104.7

...at least when I've visited my Dad and tried to tape WOCN as an aircheck for friends it came in well
No mention yet on Ocean 104 site, or the Rocket. Where was this, in Cape Cod times or on air?

I know I am an old music fool, But I do miss the prior WOCN Standards format.

It was definately more creative and fun to listen.
