WKRF-WTF????

Spending the weekend here in the Poconos with friends, and was trying to listen to KRF(107.9) The KRZ simulcast.... Has stereo pilot, just no audio.. For the ENTIRE weekend??
Anybody know whats up.. I mean Memorial Day Weekend, and no audio????? Wow!

definitely engineering issue.... Audio returns today, but at a hugely lower level..... Processing issue???? Audio sucks tho.....

When did WKRF @ 107.9 start simulcasting KRZ and why? Also what formats were they before?

WKRF used to be owned by WPCN (WPLY 960 before going dead). It simply was used to broadcast WPCN on FM, and at the time wasn't located on Big Pocono so the coverage area was less. It wasn't until the mid 90s I believe that WKRZ acquired 107.9 and moved it to Big Pocono when WPCN was struggling to survive.
