I have a strong interest in airchecks of WKSC "Kiss FM" Chicago from 2001 (their first year as a CHR) and 2001 CHR airchecks in general. I'm currently working on copying all the ones I have onto MP3. Right now I got 9-17-01, 10-4-01 and the flip in MP3 format. I don't take credit for the launch aircheck (I was 2 miles from home on foot when it happened so I didn't get to record it) so I don't know if I should post it here or not. Here's the fall 2001 airchecks made by me. I also have 2 from day 1 (1-12-01) Carson Daly Most Requested from Summer 2001, 3-31-01 (Afternoon), 2 from 11-19-01 (overnight and midday) Club Kiss Mixshow from December 2001, 2-17-01 and several tapes of them running in backup mode from 2002 (Backup mode had fall 2001 music, liners and jingles) Some of these were made by me, others were not so I'll probably wind up posting the ones made by me as I get them all into MP3 format.
By the way, I appriciate the airchecks everybody has been posting here. I'll keep mine coming as long as I continue to get airchecks that may be of interest onto MP3.
