WKSU Changes daily lineup

Beginning Aug. 5, WKSU (89.7-FM) will make major changes in its schedule, including the move of classical-music programs from daytime into the evening and abbreviated broadcasts of folk music.

They're becoming almost like WCPN with the new schedule. Speaking of 'CPN, they also changed their schedule too.

This has been rumored for at least a year. Similar things happening all over the US.

Even after the changes come...WKSU will still carry more classical music than many public stations that dropped it 100%.

I can't imagine though classicial and folk music fans being thrilled or even okay with those changes. WKSU would have to promote their HD channels a lot more if they want to keep listeners.
