What are the future plans for WKSW?

They should stay in Springfield and focus on good LOCAL radio!

I agree, that would be awesome if they could.

Right now if you break off Clark County on its own, the ratings support WKSW.

CLARK CO. 18+

#1 WHKO-FM
#1 WKSW-FM
#3 WLQT-FM
#4 WHIO-AM/FM
#5 WDHT-FM

However, Mainline is planning a move that was actually set in motion by Radio One for a move to Enon @ 101.5. So its up in the air on what the format could feasibly be. They could stay the course as Country, or they could slide down the dial to Oldies. Mainline likes they money making main stream formats.

Keep WKSW Country...and in Urbana and Springfield. Leave 101.5 alone for Ultimate Oldies.

I remember reading about the GM, Don Griffin (?) being let go, but, is there any news about the rest of the staff?
Yes, Don Griffin was the GM, for nine long years, 1998-07. Jim Beard is the new GM at the 7-1-7.
Nothing new on the old Z-93 staff...All still out of work last I heard...Except Scott Sharp, who is programming both Hot and (I think) Fly.
