I heard something this afternoon on WKTI, saying that there will be an annoucnement regarding their programing made at 6:50am on Monday morning. Any speculations on what it will be? <P ID="signature">______________

Not really....I did see a rumor about that a while back on the "other radio message board", they've been a fixture in Milwaukee now for over 20 years, maybe it is time to bow out while still doing half way decent in the ratings. As I recall, I think Reitman has some pretty serious health problems<P ID="signature">______________

WKTI is dead...

...followed days later by the announcement, "...dead serious about (giving away money/playing more music/whatever other bone to throw at listeners)..."

What year did R&M start doing mornings, wasn't it 1981??? If so this year would be the 25th year of the show, maybe there are going to hang up their headphones for the final time.

Maybe it is just me, but KTI seems to be getting stale and more boring, perhaps more changes are in the works, or its just to announce some minor thing. Who knows!<P ID="signature">______________

Reitman has been at KTI since 1980... Mueller came a few years later.. 82 or 83 after his brief morning stint at QFM.
I remember the t.v. spots KTI did announcing Reitman's arrival... They showed him climbing out of a manhole cover, with the announcement... Reitman's back,ABOVE GROUND.Guess he left QFM with some bad karma.
I always thought R&M would be a good fit at KLH considering their age bracket. Not to replace Dave & Carol but maybe afternoon drive...they could also help boost ratings at the "brew" doing mornings( since their heyday was the 80s), but i digress....

Sheeesh I used to listen to Rodeo and Mueller on QFM. I rather enjoyed that!
