WKTI has been sold to Kenneth C. Hill from the tri cities area for $65k. One less classic country station and probably another religious station for Knoxville.
 
Sad loss, a favorite station when in Knoxville. Looks like I will be listening to the other two country oldies stations.
 
I figured they were getting ready to do something with it. Sell, flip formats or something. They stopped using the voice tracking service and more recently dropped their top of hour news. It has became simply an I pod with liners and weather. $65,000. A bargain basement price for a 10k watter, even though is is a daytimer.
