WKTQ ... 92.3

Western Maryland's WKTQ 92.3 has a pending move to the FCC sending it to the town of Chalkhill PA. This would leave WMSG and WKHJ left in Garrett County. With the proposed move, 92.3 would cover mostly Fayette County in the mountains and north and west over Uniontown.

Here’s the problem. Don't we have a translator on that frequency in Irwin. It will probably only interfere during light tropo, but still. Not to mention some of our translators , like WJAS , have interference already , WJAS with Rocky 99.1 , WPIT with Key 96.5.

Translators are always secondary service and get bumped by full-power stations. And in this case they're co-owned anyway.

If Forever were seemingly more "long term" I could see them picking up 93.3. Other than that I can't imagine anyone else in the area. Unless 7 Mountains were to simulcast something on it.
