That's exactly why CC went with rhythmic ac with KTU, to protect Z100 and keep it at the top.
Plus KTU bills well with women and that is also what they want.
It's a sad state and the listener suffers but it is ALL about money. They really could care less about serving the listening public.

It will back fire when 1027 bails from this failed format and goes directly at z100.
 
Okay so I continue to listen all day at work... I'm not really noticing anything at work, during the days, because KTU had had the no repeat days anyway, so its the same deep mix of old and new... I am noticing a few more older songs remixed so that its at least not stale... Nights are still full of energy for my late commute... I don't think there are any charting current dance songs that they aren't playing either so I'm content. Everything they play is or was a hit... which should make the average 25-54 year old woman happy.
