WKTZ Jax in big trouble.

Very sad to hear that I used to enjoy listening, you never know what was next....everything from The Hollyridge strings, followed by Sam Cooke...I'm sure the God Sqadders folks will be buying up the big signal
 
I hope not. Maybe 1220 could be sold to a commercial operator. If 90.9 were to be sold, I hope it's to a community radio group. Jax has enough religion on the airwaves.
 
Was anyone struck by the quality of the grammar and punctuation of the letter? I would have thought that an open letter to prospective supporters, many of whom would have higher education degrees, would have been proof read before mailing. Also, they did not state in the letter if they were trying to raise $200,000 for the year, the quarter, or the month. My impression is that it's for the year, but it is hard to say.

One possible option would be to put HD on WKTZ and acquire the use of a translator. They can then present a more modern format on the main channel and keep the beautiful music format on the HD/translator.
