I think Joe will add a new dimension to the morning newscast and possibly even spice it up. WKYC won't be worried since they're only losing out to WJW. If something does happen to "Good Company," at least Joe will have a gig at 3.
"GC" seems to be struggling against 8's "New Day Cleveland," which is now very popular in the city. I can see why since it's more polished and better than "GC," which has gotten boring. Something has to be done if 3 doesn't want 8 to continue beating them out.
That's also why I think Joe is joining the AM news. To be an alternative to those who don't like Crumpton or 8's AM news. He's also very well-known since his radio show with Brian Fowler. I just hope 3 doesn't add a second meteorologist and/or a third anchor, then they would be too much like 8.
