WKZQ seems more like a Mainstream rock station

Almost sounds a bit hybrid. Not as 'active' as KPNT in St. Louis but definitely trying to lean more rock vs pop. Who's the PD over there now? I see Trip West is over there. Man, I remember when he was at WZAT in Savannah back in the 90s which was essentially an active/alternative hybrid.

Would it work in Myrtle Beach? I'd default that question to someone in the Myrtle Beach market that knows better than me but unless there has been recent changes, KPNT in St. Louis has been the countries number one alternative station based on rating shares.

Crash is the PD. Yeah I think they are doing a hybrid Alt with an active lean. Seems to be working for stations like KPNT, KTBZ in Houston, WXDX in Pittsburgh.
