Actually, a letter to the FCC will accomplish little...
I don't think much of what he said either. But as long as we continue to have a First Amendment, people like Rush will continue to have the right to make a$$es out of themselves on the air. (and advertisers will continue to have the right to have their say when they decide where to spend their advertising $$)
Now, what the FCC probably should have been called on on WLAC... was an ad for a product that intentionally jams FCC-licensed radio transmissions, in order to make it possible for users to evade prosecution for violation of state law... i.e., radar jammers... but that was many years ago & I haven't heard it since...
