WLAP Changes

I just happened to go onto WLAP's website today and noticed that they had another major lineup change. I think it's the third in less than a year. The morning show is gone, replaced by WSJ This Morning. Ferall Wellman, who replaced Lee Cruse in the afternoon, is now gone, and Alan Cutler has been replaced by a different sports host.

What the heck is going on at WLAP and when did this happen?

Ferall Wellman was doing the 9AM-NOON show and has now been replaced by a syndicated talk show host. Also, the 5AM-9AM local show is now just syndicated talk.

It looks like they dropped seven hours of local programing during the weekday and now have a lower paid local sports talk show host in the evening time slot. This a part of the over-all cost cutting moves being made by CC so this should come to no surprise to anyone.
