WLBG to sign off for the final time on March 31
WLBG will sign off for the final time at the end of March, ending an era that began in 1948.
860 WLBG (and 250w translator W281BX 104.1) in Laurens will be going silent (not turning in the license yet, but wouldn’t be optimistic) at the end of the month. It’s a rather unique combination of things like Coast to Coast, gospel music, and a lot of FOX Sports Radio. Originally, there was a WLBG-FM, which we now know today as WSSL 100.5.
