WLDA 100.5 STUNTING WITH "THE REAL McCOY"

Bet "Don" is basking in that arse kissing move.
The format wheel is spining. Where it stops....KVD knows.
"The game is afoot Trebek"

The way I see it, now with Rick and Bubba they can't compete against The Big Dog so they are gonna go after the Wolf....They are going to get some low cost talent and see where that get's 'em.

I think the key phrase above is "low cost". Holladay has cash to spend. Magic doesn't show any signs of spending what would be necessary to make it happen. Good the new folks may be but I doubt they can climb out of the deep hole that has been dug for them. All the air talent in the world won't make you a dime in a small market when national and regional buys are becoming scarce. I noticed on the ratings that KDAY in LA has fallen back to a .8 share. I hear tourism is way down at the beach. Now with the Dothan developments it really doesn't matter who or what is on air, the company is less than stagnant. I really feel badly for those trying to pump air into the sunken submarine.

I'm sensing a knee-jerk reaction, which isn't uncommon for Magic. With The Radio People's new station and the smoke screen of a third country station in the cluster. Just wonder how the format wheel war will play out and to whose benefit.

I hope you feel bad for the naive new employees and not the "decision makers", they are reaping what they have sown.

Truer words have never been spoken about decision makers. Some know this better than others ::)
