WLEA in Hornell, c. 1950

Hello -
Does anybody know where I can contact anyone who worked at WLEA in Hornell, NY, during the year 1949-1950? I am currently co-researching a book, and it would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

You ever thought about calling there and talking to Kevin Doran. He's the owner and he probably could help you in your quest for the information.

Crane started his radio career there in 1950. He wasn't there long before he moved on to bigger things.

Thanks for the responses. The book is actually a new biography about Bob Crane, which will detail his life and professional accomplishments (not focus on his murder or scandal). He wasn't at WLEA for very long, so locating people who worked with him in Hornell is proving to be difficult. Can anyone help? I can be reached via email at [email protected]

Talked to anyone at WICC in Bridgeport. CT lately? Crane worked there for about a half dozen years, that's where he wowed the CBS network brass who recommended him to KNX...
