WLEV a little softer and a little more retro?

Is it me or is WLEV a little softer and a little more retro in recent weeks? Is that part of some of the new programming directions? If so, as I've said before, I would agree with such a move. They seem a little less hot and a little more 70s and 80s if you ask me. There's still modern stuff, but it seems a little less.

The station now sounds like how "A/C sounds in 2009." Go south or east frrom the Lehigh Valley....101.1 or 106.7 to understand what I mean.
Congrats to Laura and the crew for getting it back on track. It hasn't sounded this good in years. Hopefully, the ratings will follow.

Tight lists generally win big for ACs. WLEV has been through so many of the wrong changes over a few years. Let's give Laura kudos for what appears to be a quick fix on the basics and wish her the best that she gives WLEV a chance to rise from the ashes.

The music maybe sounding better but I think the talk breaks aren't has good as they used to be. The jocks sound tense and nervous, could there be more firings in the works?

I sense that too there may be some uneasiness. But it also may be the jocks getting use to doing shorter breaks.

Laura, the PD, has held down part time gigs at the two biggest A/C stations in the country B101 in Philly and WLTW in NYC.

Both are hugely successful radio stations. The talent on both stations do short breaks. It takes talent to say more in less time.

LEV's talent is fine. They'll get it in time.
