i was driving home from golf sunday nite and heard dead air on WLEV but heard Delilah liners pop up on occasion................how long did this go on????
It probably sounded better than their current processing. Holy crap, Batman. Who set the thing to "super compress mega fast release clip the living hell out of it"? It sounds like 4 loud Volumaxes all stacked in a row with a DAP in front of them and a couple of composite clippers in a row.
YES! I meant to make an issue of this on its own thread. I'm not a processing expert and only use terms like "it sounds too compressed or too high or too funky or whatever" but I've got to say that WLEV's processing sounds bizarre and way different from the other stations. What's up with that?
WLEV had more dead air this morning around 11 AM. After about 5 minutes I switched to another station, so I don't know how long it lasted, but it was quite a while.
WLEV is going down the tubes fast, lots of dead air, their on air presence is crap and their processing is totally junk. A band's sound guy could do a better job.
