I use to listen to WLEZ 103.7 out of Jackson via the internet up until a few months ago when all of a sudden it went down. I contacted the station via e mail about six weeks ago, and received a short reply back stating to "hang in there". Well now not only is thier streaming down, but thier web site is also down. Can anyone tell me whats up? are they still on the air?
 
Yep, just checked and they're still blazing away.

You might drop a friendly inquiry to the media forum of the local alt paper (jacksonfreepress.com). JFP often mentions their show(s) on WLEZ - your inquiry might spur WLEZ proprietor Ed St. Pe to get back online.
 
It's interesting as to who owns this station, a "local" Meteorologist who provides weather forecasts to several television stations across the country.

Are the studios and "tower" for WLEZ at his weather studios in Jackson??
 
St. Pe's snazzy weather/lpfm building is also site of the former 1450. AM tower still there, on Foley St. right off Fortification and I-55. WLEZ's 1-bay is on a Rohn-looking tower right next to the AM stick. Other than...

1: I think the AM license has been long-ago sold off
2: Turning it on would trash the audio in every piece of equipment in his adjacent building

I don't know why St. Pe doesn't operate 1450 as an all-Jackson-weather, all-the-time station. That would be interesting.

There is actually an Application for 1kw Day/1kw Night on 1450 in Jackson from Rivers, L.P.

I think Rivers, LP is one of the guys who owns part of 1240 in the Jackson area and also owns KBRA 95.9 Freer, TX.
