WLFM SHOULD HAVE A MORNING SHOW BETWEEN 5;am @ 9;00am. instead of statio promo's give time and temp. atleast.BRING IN SOME ONE WE KNOW LIKE WLSFM DOES. CAN YOU TELL ME WHEN THEY SAY WLFM 87.7 FM LP. MEAN'S.??AT THE TOP OF THE HOUR??DO YOU THINK THE HD STAION'S WILL EVER INCREASE THERE POWER ON THERE HD2 AND HD3 CHANNEL'S?? BOBBY.B - I'm sure a lot of people have been asking Smooth Jazz 87.7 for local personalities. As good as the music is (though the music is getting somewhat repetitious) it would be nice if they had more of a local 'feel' to it. I am finding myself listening to WNIJ or WDCB more now. I would suggest calling and/or emailing WLFM, the contact info. is on their website www.wlfm877.com I know Pat Kelley is the general manager there, sometimes he has posted messages here on radio-info.com Yes, WLFM-LP only gives their full ID once per hour only seconds before the TOH. All other times they say Smooth Jazz 87.7

As for the HD, most people seem to not be enthused with HD reception, you must be one of the lucky ones. So far as I know, no HD station in the Chicago area has increased their HD power, nor are they experimenting with a power increase. Perhaps it's atmospheric conditions. (;
 
LP means low power. This station has few resources. They would probably not be able to hire a dj that "you know."

Bobby, It would be nicer if you found your caps lock key. Readinng your posts makes me fell like you are SHOUTING!
