WLGD In Maplesville

Is on and doing a broadcast of their sister station from WLKF 980 AM Southern Gospel in Clanton. Sounds real good Mr. Rew. I was listening from the west side of Selma.

Is the translator on 95.5 still operating in Clanton? I would think even at its power WLGD would surely put a good signal over the Clanton area.

I am sure someone will comment about the station being off so I will tell it like it is before roomers start flying.

Well after being on for just over a week and getting a lot of calls and good comments from listeners, we have run into a problem. At around 11 AM on 6-24 we took a direct lightning strike and it took out our STL system, remote control and also did some minor damage to the transmitter. Tower climber coming and parts are ordered. Please bear with us. We will be back as soon as we can.

I'll be the first to say, hope you can get things fixed.

Still loving the presentation.

Hope you'll keep things as they are now, once you're back on.

To Mr. Rew,

The radio station is sounding real good again.

Hope you've gotten all the bugs out.

Are you going to keep it Southern Gospel?

If so, then success will be your best friend.
