WLIM 1580

Maybe someone in L.I. knows what's going on there. WLIM is listed as 10 KW days. Here in Northern NJ I could barely hear them during the day. Now they're significantly stronger. So my question is...have they been operating on reduced power for a while or is something else going on?
Thanks

Re: WLIM 1580 How about wHLI?

Along the same line of question, what has happened to WHLI's tiny, but listenable signal to NYC? Thirteen years ago it was barely audible but has since weakened and vanished. Deteriorated antenna field?
