I'm loving being able to listen to WLIR again (and the new music is great!), but I'd feel a lot better if more publicity was being given by TMO to their return! From the message board at wlir.fm, here's something hopefully promising:
All:
Just heard from John C and I like what I am hearing.

We will be adding more newer music in the coming weeks to get the spins per
week down. I am looking into a higher bit rate for the streaming and we are in the process of getting Party on the stream as well. I am only going to do four commercials per hour, no more than that. I think it will be a good listening radio station once we are done.
A few other random observations/questions...
Why does the "contact" button on the fmchannelcast site (where all three stations' info. is listed) not work?
I didn't see it noted on this board that 98.5 also returned to their former name as "98.5 The Bone" -- sorry if I missed that...
It says a lot about TMO when you go to their (one-page) website, moreyorg.com, and they still have WLIR listed as "92.7 WLIR" -- although I guess we should give them a break. I mean, after all, it's only been almost 2 YEARS since that station existed! Oh, and no contact info. there, either.
