WLIT-93.9 Website: The Annual Yulethon Has Begun

Based on the list of songs played on the air, WLIT-93.9 (which was expected to flip to all-Christmas sometime today, November 18th) did so today at 5 P.M. CST.

As has become the case for so many stations running all-Christmas formats, the first Yule tune on WLIT was Johnny Mathis' "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas".

I tuned in just to hear the launch. Same launch except last year's first song was Burl Ives - Holly Jolly Christmas

In Milwaukee, 3 stations changed to Christmas yesterday with another on the way.<P ID="signature">______________

WCSF Joliet will be All-Christmas starting Friday IIRC
