Looking at the playlists, it appears that with the shift back to regular AC from their "My FM" moniker, they are starting to add more '70s to the playlist. Other stations playing the same format doesn't even play anything from that decade anymore, that's including a high rated AC station out of Philadelphia. I think it's a mistake to add "sleepy" 70's music mixing in with the current stuff because it will totally alienate the younger end of the audience, especially when the '70s are being phased out from the format.
Songs from the decade heard on the station include(but not limited to).
Gloria Gaynor - I Will Survive
Player - Baby Come Back
The Bee Gees - How Deep Is Your Love?
The Bee Gees - Stayin' Alive
ABBA - Dancing Queen
Billy Joel - Piano Man
When they were "My FM", they were strictly 80's to now. Now that it's shifted back to "Lite" and Deliliah back on the station's lineup, I think the station is trying to cater to older listeners because there are other stations that are playing the same modern stuff.
Other iHeart AC stations also play '70s, some of them deeper(Also remember we used to hear some sleepy Motown tunes couple years ago?)
So for a station to shift back to its old name, I guess I'm totally classifying it "Gold AC", or "Soft AC".
